Confidentiality Notice

Last updated: May 27, 2026

Jobholster LLC ("Jobholster") is committed to protecting the confidentiality of information provided by visitors, prospective users, customers, and partners ("you"). This notice describes how we treat confidential information shared with us through the Site and the Job Holster application (the "App"), and the expectations that govern its use.

What We Treat as Confidential

We treat the following categories of information as confidential:

How We Handle It

Confidential information is used only for the purposes for which it was provided — to respond to your inquiry, to operate and improve the service, or to deliver the features you have asked us to deliver. We restrict internal access to personnel and contractors who need it to perform their roles, and we require them to maintain its confidentiality.

Your Customer and Job Data

Information about your customers, leads, jobs, photos, and notes belongs to you. We do not access, review, sell, rent, or disclose your customer data except as necessary to provide the service, to comply with law, or with your explicit authorization. Each user's records are isolated from every other user's records at the database level using Row-Level Security. Aggregated and de-identified statistics derived from usage may be used to improve the product.

AI Processing

When you use AI-assisted features in the App (such as extracting client details from a pasted message, or cleaning up a voice-memo transcript), the relevant text and matching information is forwarded through our AI proxy to a third-party provider, currently Anthropic. We do not use your customer data to train models. The third-party provider's handling of that data is governed by its own privacy and confidentiality policies; for the current provider, see anthropic.com/legal/privacy. If the AI proxy is unavailable, the App's offline heuristic extractor runs locally and nothing is sent to any third party.

Disclosures Required by Law

We may disclose confidential information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process, or where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, the safety of any person, or to investigate fraud or violations of our Terms of Service. Where lawful and practicable, we will notify you in advance of any such disclosure.

Communications With Job Holster

Communications you send to us — including emails, forms, and support messages — may contain information you consider confidential. Please mark such communications accordingly. While we take reasonable steps to protect inbound communications, email and similar channels are not inherently secure, and you should avoid transmitting highly sensitive information through them.

Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect confidential information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction — including transport encryption, hashed passwords (handled by Supabase Auth), and database-level row isolation. No safeguards are perfect; in the event of a confirmed breach affecting your information, we will provide notice as required by applicable law.

Retention

Confidential information is retained only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described above, to comply with legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Active records are kept while your account is open. Records you delete in the App are kept in soft-deleted state for 30 days before permanent purge so accidental deletions can be undone. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or de-identified.
